Ruby Red Events Management & Consultancy (2010/159537/23) is a newly formed, black-female owned events management company trading as Aloedale Lodge cc (86/00054/23) which was previously non-BEE owned by the Dalrymple Family for the past 36 years. 

The privately owned farm is situated 8 km West of Empangeni on the way to Melmoth, R34 and under the Zungu Chieftancy, Nqathayi Reserve. The farm stands on 45-hectare of land and it consists of a 3-star Lodge with seven spacious en-suite rooms. The four private, fully-equipped & furnished self-catering rooms, with kitchenette, facing the indigenous gardens and the three en-suite rooms are situated in the main house. All rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, TV and DSTV available, fully equipped and furnished.

The farm also has an Indigenous Plants Nursery, which showcases over 100 different species of Aloe (Inhlaba) and other indigenous plants. Our beautiful, well-maintained gardens, attracts more than 200 different birds from around the world. We also have the bird-watching tower that allows for best viewing of the birds. The nursery is fully-operational and we supply local nurseries. 

We also cater for functions such as Weddings, Corporate Functions, Parties and Braais,  and we offer the full service that includes all your catering, décor, stationery, venue (garden & indoors).   

Our current expansion plans are to build a 1000-seater conference venue, with two 50-seater meeting rooms, Executive Lounges and other facilities. We will also increase our accommodation by constructing 20 chalets consisting of spacious two bedroom en-suites, bath & shower, fully-equipped kitchen, fully-furnished lounge and dining room, air-conditioning & heating facility, TV, DSTV, wireless internet and full security.
